Looking for SAM writers! Do you find our SAMs engaging and informative? Would you like to try your hand at authoring one? The American Board of Optometry (ABO) is always looking for individuals who would like to write a SAM. We provide a template and guidance from start to finish. Many topics are available, or you can suggest your own. And as an added bonus, authoring a SAM can earn you anywhere from 5 to 20 points of CE! If interest, contact [email protected].
MOC Reminder! Don’t get behind on maintaining your MOC requirements. Remember to do your annual module and enter all CE into your Learning Builder portal. And if this is the year you are doing a PPM, remember it could take 30-90 days to complete. Allow yourself plenty of time! If you do get behind on requirements, give us a call at 314-983-4226 and we can help you catch up.
We are continuing to work with ARBO on getting OE Tracker information so we can eliminate the need to enter CE manually into Learning Builder. We hope to have this process in place by the end of this year and will keep you updated as we go along!
