Presented by Pinakin Davey, PhD, OD. Dr. Davey is a tenured Professor and Director of Research at Western University of Health Sciences and is Vice President of the Ocular Wellness and Nutrition Society.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Optometry from the Elite School of Optometry in India in 1999 and received his Ph.D. from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, England, in the area corneal measurements and its influence on glaucoma, in 2003. Dr. Davey completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Louisville in 2006 and graduated with his Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in 2010. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the Optometric Glaucoma Society. Dr. Davey has authored over 50 journal publications and book chapters, and has lectured at hundreds of conferences and professional meetings both nationally and internationally.
