2.2 Executive Director


The Executive Director is the chief executive officer of the Board  and has general executive powers and duties of supervision and management, as outlined in the ABO bylaws.


  1. Qualifications:
    1. Management and leadership experience
    2. Strong communication skills
    3. Understanding of parliamentary procedure
  2. Administrative Responsibilities:
    1. Carry out all directions and resolutions of the Board
    2. Execute all bonds, notes, debentures, mortgages and other contracts
    3. Direct the day-to-day affairs of the ABO
    4. Prepare budget reports and submit to Board for approval
    5. Draft and adhere to a business plan for the ABO
    6. Prepare an annual report and submit to the Board
    7. Manage all ABO staff
