Assistance needed with research survey! Early assessment or even prevention of burnout is needed to assure the well-being of the optometric community and quality patient care. Healthcare providers have a higher risk of burnout, and optometrists are not immune.
For his PhD dissertation, ABO Diplomate Jeffrey L. Weaver, OD, is undertaking a survey of optometrists related to burnout. This anonymous survey takes 15 minutes. Please consider participating. We think you may find the experience interesting and meaningful. Link to Survey HERE
Couldn’t attend the July 25th webinar? It’s now online! ABO Diplomate Susan Resnick, OD, presented an excellent course on Contact Lens Management of Presbyopia. Dr. Resnick is a graduate of the State University of New York, College of Optometry and is currently in private practice in New York.
