New CE Categories Added
The American Board of Optometry (ABO) has recently added two n
ew types of CE that meet post-graduate and MOC requirements. Live webinar has been added as an approved activity under Category 1 CE. This cannot be a recording of a webinar, but a live event in which attendees are able to participate. Webinars with an examination component will be worth 2 points per hour as CEE.
Under Category 2 CE, we have added several approved fellowships, including NORA, CLSA and SLS. If you have completed a fellowship that is not listed here, please contact us to see if it qualifies under our Category 2 CE standards.
Finally, development of a COPE approved CE course has also been added as an approved activity under Category 2 CE. Each original course developed is worth 5 points.
