ABO Webinar Series Continues…
On April 11, 2017, the ABO hosted a 2-hour presentation “Eyelid and Periorobital Lesion Removal and Biopsy” by Dr. Richard Castillo. This members-only webinar was attended live by 190 Diplomates and active Candidates, and about 60 additional members watched the recorded webinar. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, as evidenced by these comments from attendees.
“I think the high quality, no charge webinar is a tremendous value to diplomates and makes the ABO more of a “human” organization and less of just a website.”
” I was extremely impressed with how smooth the set up and ease of participation went. Dr. Castillo is an amazing educator and I thoroughly enjoyed the informational content of the webinar. Thank you.”
“I appreciate the free CE. This adds value to my membership.”
If you missed the webinar, you may access the recording here.
His previous webinar “The Future is Now” is also available on this page. At the request of webinar attendees, Dr. Castillo compiled a list of basic equipment and supplies for in-office surgical techniques, and that list can be accessed here.
If you enjoyed Dr. Castillo’s webinars, you may appreciate the Self-Assessment Module (SAM) that he developed exclusively for ABO Diplomates. This SAM is comprised of 14 video segments, each approximately 10-12 minutes in length, and the information complements both of his webinars. This SAM can be accessed through your Learning Plan in LearningBuilder and will count toward your MOC requirements.
The ABO Webinar Series will continue in July featuring ABO Diplomate, Dr. Mitchell Dul. Dr. Dul is the Director of the Glaucoma Institute at SUNY College of Optometry and will present on Advances in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Glaucoma. Mark your calendars for July 19, from 8:00 – 10:00 PM EDT. Email invitations for registration will be sent in June.
